Circle of Friends
ANJALI is a thought – a thought for an inclusive world for ‘otherwise able’ children. An annual event today, it started in 2001 with 77 participants and a dream to bridge the distance between children with special needs and the other so called ‘normal’ children. Anjali aims at the holistic development of artistic skills and using this as a medium of learning in elementary schools has successfully taught history through theatre, local culture through dances, literature through puppetry, importance of inclusion through music and science through outdoor trips.
ANJALI is all ready to commence this incredible journey once again. Quite enthusiastically we are also trying to let it become the First International Children Festival in 2012. To host something unique we need friends. So we have initiated a process of creating Circle of Friends People like you, coming together from all walks of life who believe in the rights of ALL children. We are looking for 1000 FRIENDS, we value in our lives, which can help us achieve our dreams or lend a hand when we are in need. We request you to join the circle and contribute anything from 5-10 thousand every year. We also request for your time and skills. You can send your contributions to SWABHIMAN, Bhubaneswar at A/98 Budhanagar, Bhubaneswar, Pin – 751006.
You will receive quarterly updates of ANJALI on joining the Circle.
Your return gift - Sunshine smiles on tiny faces, heartfelt thanks from love full eyes and unbound love.
